Images highlighting Metra stations throughout Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, Kane and McHenry counties will be featured on the 2017 Monthly Passes, Metra announced today.
January’s Monthly Pass, available for purchase starting today, features a wintery scene with a MP36 locomotive rolling in to the Big Timber Station along the Milwaukee West Line in Elgin.
“The stations throughout the six-county region will be highlighted throughout the year, giving commuters the opportunity to see some of the other stations we serve,” said Metra Executive Director/CEO Don Orseno.
The Monthly Pass offers riders unlimited travel among select fare zones. For detailed information regarding all of Metra’s fares, please visit metrarail.com. Monthly Passes are available for purchase at stations, on Metra’s website or from your smartphone with the free Ventra App, available in the App Store or Google Play. (The mobile tickets, however, do not feature the station images.)
